Year 3 girls have been making gorgeous seagulls at the seaside in their Art classes. They used a layered technique to create interesting collages that really make the seagulls ‘pop’ from the background. The girls had fun exploring their creativity to show the cheeky characters of these sea birds.
We just love these curious cats, made by the girls in Lower Prep (Years 3 & 4), that we just had to share them with you. The girls have been having fun with mixed medium, using a combination of paints, crayons and pencils to create their masterpieces. As you can see, they used their imagination to include backgrounds, flowers, bees, butterflies and more.
Girls in Year 5 have been working on cacti creations. They first drew their cacti, to understand form, shape and texture, then went on to create their cacti in clay, working on a 3D representation of their design. They produced a wide variety of different types of cacti showing how they used their imagination to create something quite different from one another.
