Once again we were able to celebrate Remembrance Day with a whole school assembly, presented by Major General Inshaw. Our Head Girl and her deputies were also able to accompany Mrs Walker to the Gerrards Cross War Memorial to lay a wreath on behalf of the school. Girls also took part in remembrance activities in their classrooms as each form made a poppy wreath to lay as part of the school assembly. The designs were beautiful and it was lovely to see the girls work together. Many thanks to Major General Inshaw for coming into school to deliver such a touching assembly, which really made the girls think about the sacrifices made in not just the 1st and 2nd World Wars, but in all military conflict since.
