We are absolutely delighted to share the fantastic news that our Year 6 girls have achieved an 85% qualification rate in the Buckinghamshire Secondary Transfer Test (11+) this year.
These remarkable results will provide the girls with access to some of the most renowned grammar schools and top independent senior schools in the country, such as Beaconsfield High School, Dr Challoner’s High School, Cheltenham Ladies College, Wycombe Abbey, Haberdashers’ Girls’, St Helen’s, Berkhamsted, Headington and Queen Anne’s, Caversham.
Moreover, the girls have attained a whopping twelve awards to top independent schools in the country in recognition of their hard work and commitment in areas such as sports, drama and academics. This includes sports scholarships to The Royal Masonic School and Queen Anne’s Caversham, a drama exhibition to Berkhamsted School, and a staggering eight academic scholarships to schools like Cheltenham Ladies College and Lady Eleanor Holles.
At Maltman’s Green School, we are immensely proud of the girls’ accomplishments, and credit the successes to their hard work and the great education and learning environment the school provides. Many of the girls have even earned multiple offers of places at some of the most sought-after institutions in the nation.
Mrs Walker sent a lovely message: “These commendable results are testament to our Year 6 pupils’ ambition, passion, and hard work. It is an honour for us to witness the bright future these Maltman’s Green girls have in store for them!”
The whole school community at Maltman’s Green takes immense pride in the girls’ success and looks forward to seeing what the future holds for our Year 6 girls as they enjoy the remainder of their time with us and then step out into the wider world to stretch their wings and fly! Well done girls!
