House meetings have been rather tuneful over the last half of the Spring term, with girls busy preparing for the House singing competition. Each House chose their own song to showcase their vocal talents, alongside singing a verse of “Seek Ye First the Kingdom of God”. Mrs Jane Phillips, Director of Music at St Mary’s School, judged the competition and provided positive, constructive feedback.
The competition was strong, but in the end Mrs Philips awarded Aylward first place for their performance of ‘Somewhere Only We Know’ by Keane. A huge well done to Aylward, conducted by Mrs Hattam with a blue paintbrush! Thank you also to the Pre-Prep department who were a fantastic audience throughout.
