We believe in creating opportunities for our girls so that they may unlock hidden talents and passions, paving the way for a brighter future. We are fortunate to have a strong parents’ association – the Friends of Maltman’s Green – who use raised funds to purchase equipment that broadens the girls’ experiences. Additionally, we invest heavily in the School’s facilities, ensuring that they are not only of an exceptionally high quality, but also cover a range of interests and are future-focused.
We hope to be able to continue to invest in the facilities, equipment and breadth of opportunities at Maltman’s Green and are very grateful for donations, however big or small, towards development.
Access to quality education also features high on our agenda and through our bursary programme we are able to offer financial support to help girls who would otherwise be unable to benefit from a Maltman’s education. Bursary funds come directly from the School as well as from generous parents, alumni and other supporters.
We are determined to offer our girls opportunities that are relevant, future-ready and varied. Recent developments include our new STEAM lab, upgrades to our professional performance space, upgrades to our IT facilities, the discovery garden, sport courts floodlights and the Little Malties play area.
We are delighted with our new STEAM lab, kindly equipped by the Friends of Maltman’s Green, and are looking to expand on the opportunities available to our girls with additional equipment and opportunities. Similarly, we are looking to create opportunities for girls to experience exciting, new, digital media technology. Ideas currently in the mix include a creative space with related STEAM resources, virtual reality headsets, digital filming, with audio visual recording and editing capabilities. A space for girls to use modern technology creatively and collaboratively will equip them with the skills that they need for a digital future.
We already offer an exceptional sports provision but believe that it could be bolstered by the addition of an all-weather pitch to give girls better access to sports during the wet, winter months. We have scope to construct an all-weather pitch while still retaining our traditional, grass, playing fields.

Our bursaries have proved vital in helping girls to benefit from the opportunities and excellence at Maltman’s Green who wouldn’t otherwise have had the means to join us. Over the years we have watched these girls bloom into bright, confident young women, many of whom have gone onto prestigious senior schools and enviable universities. We are proud to have played a small part in their achievements and are delighted with their successes.
Many parents whose children enjoy a first-rate Maltman’s education, generously support our bursary fund through an optional contribution through their fee bill or a separate one-off donation. Donors who give £1000.00 or more will become a member of our 100 Club.

To celebrate the 100th anniversary of Maltman’s Green in 2018, we launched The 100 Club – a branch of our bursary fund. Members pledge just £100 a year for 10 years, or make a one-off donation of £1000.00. To honour their generosity all members are commemorated with an engraved copper leaf on our 100 Club Tree – a permanent, 8ft metal sculpture installed on school grounds. The installation is designed to endure for generations, ensuring the names of our 100 Club members will always be remembered. We hope that you will consider joining.
Please find links to the application form and corresponding standing order mandate below. Once completed and signed, please return to the School office either by post or in person, or email to MGS100@maltmansgreen.com.

Pupils and parents who benefited from and enjoyed their time at Maltman’s Green may like to leave a legacy gift in their will as a means of giving back and providing for future generations. Legacies can be used to fund development projects as well as offer valuable bursaries for less advantaged children. Perhaps you have something particular you would like to fund? We’d love to hear from you.
If you are considering leaving a legacy for Maltman’s Green in your will, please begin by discussing this with your solicitor.
